LAHORE : An exhibition of paintings titled ‘My Pakistan’ is underway at Coopera Art Gallery in connection with the 77th Independence Day.
A large number of art enthusiasts, students and artists were also present on this occasion. The exhibition will remain open for the public daily except holidays until September 2, 2024 from 10 am to 6 pm.
The exhibition was organised by the Conservation Society in collaboration with Coopera Art Gallery. Mrs Mussarat Chughtai was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony.
As many as eighteen senior and some budding painters participated and decorated the walls of the gallery with four dozen vibrant paintings reflecting culture, heritage and life.
The painters through their eye-catching paintings showed their patriotic love with the country and captured landmarks of all the provinces.
Some of the participants are Dr Ajaz Anwar, M Javed, Mahboob Ali, Khalid Latif, Saeed Ahmed, Munawwar Mohiudin, Kiran Khalid, Madinah and Maham, Maria, Kamangar.
The chief guest was highly impressed with the artworks and said that the artists proved their extraordinary attachment with the country through their intriguing artworks.
