Another footage of the Karsaz accident has emerged, showing that the female driver had hit a white car shortly before she collided with the motorcycle of the man and his daughter, resulting in their deaths.
In the footage, it can be seen that the white car's rear door was damaged by the speeding jeep.
The woman, in an attempt to flee, went a little further and hit the man and his daughter on a motorcycle.
Police sources say the woman was speeding away from the scene due to the first accident, and it was because of high speed, the second accident occurred.
Meanwhile, East Range DIG Ghulam Azfar Mahesar on Friday visited the house of the man and his daughter who died in a recent car accident on Karsaz to offer his condolences to the bereaved family.
Officials said DIG Mahesar offered Fateha for the departed souls and informed the family that investigations were being carried out on merit, and justice would be given to the family.
A special investigation team (SIT) headed by SSP Investigation Alina Rajpar had been formed and all CCTV footage obtained, he said, adding that in the next 24 hours, the blood test report of the accused would come, after which the decision to add or remove some sections in the case would be made.
DIG Mahesar said police were with the victims’ family. He explained that no medical report or medical history report had been submitted by the family of the accused.
