LAHORE: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) successfully concluded a five-day Member Associations Refereeing Course 2024 held here.
The course, conducted with the assistance of FIFA, aimed to elevate refereeing standards in Pakistan by providing 30 referees, including four women, with advanced training. Led by experienced FIFA experts, Mohammad Rodzali and Khalidi Bin Supian, the course focused on enhancing refereeing skills and knowledge according to FIFA and AFC guidelines.
At the closing ceremony, Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar, a member of the PFF Normalisation Committee and Chairman of the PFF Referees Committee, presented certificates to the participants.
“I would like to thank Rodzali, who came here to teach our referees new techniques and standards according to FIFA and AFC guidelines,” said Khokhar. “We are committed to improving the refereeing landscape in Pakistan and ensuring that our referees are always at the top of their game, with confidence in their abilities,” he added.
