ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Shahryar Taj as Secretary of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Taj, a Grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, was awaiting posting in the Establishment Division.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan is an agency under the Commerce Division.
Additionally, there have been extensive postings and transfers of section officers across the federal ministries and divisions. Section Officer Muhammad Tahir Akbar has been transferred from the Commerce Division to the National Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Authority. Section Officer Yasir Ali from the Planning Division and Deputy Director NAB Taimoor Ahsan have been designated as OSDs (Officers on Special Duty), and their educational leave has been approved.
Furthermore, 29 probationary officers from the Office Management Group, Grade 17, who completed the 46th Specialised Training Programme at the Secretariat Training Institute, Islamabad, have been appointed as section officers in various federal ministries and divisions. The new appointments are as follows: Haya Ali as Section Officer, Aviation Division; Asma Reza Aslam as Section Officer, Cabinet Division; Izharuddin as Section Officer, Climate Change Division; Peer Jameel Hussain as Section Officer, Commerce Division; Bakhtawar Yousafzai as Section Officer, Communications Division; Amina Batool as Section Officer, Defence Division; Zoya Siddique, Ahmad Ijaz, and Abdullah Khalid as Section Officers, Economic Affairs Division; Mohammad Moazz and Miss Paris as Section Officers, Establishment Division; Farwa Nazir as Section Officer, Overseas Pakistanis Division; Numra Imtiaz and Shoaib Mujtaba as Section Officers, Finance Division; Faraz Anwar and Mohammad Fahad as Section Officers, Industry and Production Division; Agha Hashir Mahmood Khan and Asim Hussain Qureshi as Section Officers, Interior Division; Saad Zubair as Section Officer, Narcotics Control Division; Mansoor Shabbir as Section Officer, National Food Security and Research Division; Larib Fatima and Ahmed as Section Officers, National Health Division; Waqas Khan as Section Officer, Planning Division; Layla Yousuf, Talha Mahfuz, and Ruby Nawaz as Section Officers, Power Division; Asif Nawaz as Section Officer, Petroleum Division; Arsalan Asif as Section Officer, Poverty Reduction Division and Miss Huma as Section Officer, Science and Technology Division. The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications for these appointments.
