Indonesia renews commitment to foster economic cooperation

Islamabad:Indonesian chargé d’affaires Rahmat Hindiarta emphasised Indonesia’s commitment to fostering economic cooperation and inviting Pakistani businesses to the Indonesia - South and Central Asia Business Forum 2024 and Trade Expo Indonesia 2024.

He was speaking during the Pre-CEO Summit Dinner at the Embassy of Indonesia here. The event, organised in collaboration with the CEO Club Pakistan and World CEO Forum, aimed to strengthen business ties and enhance trade relations between Indonesia and Pakistan, according to the embassy. It said the dinner, which preceded the CEO Summit Islamabad and Trade Expo Indonesia, provided a platform for Pakistani CEOs, business leaders, and their spouses to network and discuss key topics related to the upcoming events.

The event brought together prominent business leaders from Pakistan, providing a unique opportunity to discuss key topics related to the upcoming summit and trade expo. It served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exploration of new avenues for economic cooperation between Indonesia and Pakistan. "Indonesia is offering opportunities to the Pakistani business communities to participating in the Indonesia - South and Central Asia (INASCA) Business Forum 2024 and Trade Expo Indonesia 2024 and to bring fruitful results for the benefits of two brotherly countries, as the more concrete actions of Indonesia and Pakistan existing close bilateral relations," the Indonesian chargé d’affaires.

He told Pakistani businessmen that his country would host the CEO Summit in Bali and warmly welcomed them to Jakarta and Bali. "We will offer you a comprehensive platform for showcasing Indonesian products, services, and investment opportunities," he said. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Energy Muhammad Ali praised the event’s role in strengthening business relations.
