GCU bans T-shirts, jeans on campus

LAHORE:The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has introduced a new dress code, encouraging modest attire by prohibiting male and female students from wearing T-shirts and jeans on campus.
The notification in this regard was issued recently according to which by implementing the new dress code the GCU administration has imposed a ban on students wearing T-shirts and jeans on campus.
The notification mandates that all male and female students comply with the new guidelines, which are introduced as part of a wider effort to promote discipline and preserve decorum within the institution. The notification also warns that non-compliance would be dealt with strictly.
