KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) praised its patron Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for announcing that Swat Hockey Stadium will soon get a synthetic turf.
“PHF is truly indebted to the Government of Pakistan for making sincere efforts for developing the physical infrastructure of hockey in Pakistan,” a PHF release said.
“This gesture of goodwill of the Prime Minister will encourage talented players of Swat to take part in the national game with pride. This will also provide PHF an opportunity to establish training camps of senior, junior and women hockey teams at the venue,” it further said.
