ISLAMABAD: Rizwan Saeed, the new ambassador of Pakistan to the US, has assumed responsibilities of his post.
As his first engagement on Wednesday, he held introductory meetings with the embassy staff and discussed with them priorities in the context of Pakistan’s economic situation. Rizwan Saeed, who previously served as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Pakistan Embassy for a long period of time, held diplomatic responsibilities with ambassadors Jalil Abbas Jilani, Azaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Asad Majeed Khan and Ali Jahangir Siddiqui.
