LAHORE: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has accepted Imran Khan’s plea for providing a record of NAB’s old decision to close the £190 million case besides nullifying the trial court decision of not providing the documents to him.

On the other hand, the court has ended the stay order for not announcing the final decision by the accountability court in the 190 million pounds case.

A division bench of IHC comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Babar Sattar took up the case for hearing. NAB provided documents of the Executive Board meeting and a copy of its decision for closing the Al Qadir trust case to counsels for the PTI founder.

The court wrapped up the petition concerning the acceptance of PTI founder’s petition for the provision of record and a copy of the record. The court has ended the stay order issued by it restraining the accountability court from announcing the final decision and now the court can announce the order whenever it wants.
