ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur will lead a rally to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s public meeting at Tarnol scheduled to be held on August 22.
PTI MNA Sher Afzal Marwat, who has been recently entrusted with the responsibility in relation to the party’s power show, spoke to the media on the issue of the rally in Islamabad. He was of the view that the proposed place, venue (Tarnol) for the rally is not spacious and the rally will be held in any open place up to Sangjani.
He made it clear that the rally will take place in any situation. “We will come out peacefully and safely, convoys from all over the country will leave for the rally tomorrow (Wednesday) night and that the leadership of the opposition alliance, the Tehreek Tahafuz Aiyeen-e-Pakistan, would also be present in the rally.
Earlier, a meeting of PTI was held here at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House regarding the preparations for the rally in Islamabad. It was learnt that Secretary General Omar Ayub, Raoof Hasan and others participated in the meeting through video link. Likewise, MNA Sheikh Waqas Akram and members of PTI’s legal team were also present in the meeting to review the related preparations.
