Punjab Junior Tennis begins

LAHORE: The Kamran Steel Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2024 was inaugurated at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore, on Tuesday. Over 22 matches were played on the first day of the championship. All the top players secured comfortable victories, advancing to the second round.

In Boys U-18 1st Round, Abu Banat Khalil beat Ammar Rana 6-2, Hamza Ali Rizwan beat Ayan Sheheryar 6-3, Yafat Nadeem beat Rehaan Khan 6-3, Abdur Rehman Pir Zada beat Hanzl Anwar 6-4, Abdur Rehman Rana beat Haider Nadeem 7-5, and M Shaheer Khan beat Abdullah Sajjad Wahla 6-2.

In Boys U-14 Main 1st Round, Aalay Hussain beat Faizan Haider 6-0. In Boys U-12 Qualifying Round, Muzamil Khan beat M. Turab 6-4, Daniyal Afzal Malik beat Murtaza Ahmad 6-3, and Aaliyan Ali beat Mustafa Zia 6-2.

In Boys U-12 Main 1st Round, Muhammad Muaz beat Salaar Kamran Khan 6-0, Zayd Mansoor Khan beat M Mamnoon Bari 6-0, Mustafa Uzair Rana beat M Ehsan Bari 6-1, Muhammad Ayan beat Aahil Najoom 6-1.
