Squash player becomes brand ambassador
PESHAWAR: Zakori Group, together with its growing brand Ranchers Cafe, has announced a partnership with international squash player Noorena Shams.
A press release said the agreement makes her the official brand ambassador for Ranchers.The signing ceremony took place in Islamabad recently where Afnan representing Ranchers, and Noorena Shams teamed up.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood, Chairperson National Vocational and Technical Training Commission Gulmina Bilal, and Chief Executive Officer of Zakori Group Ayub Khan Zakori were present on the occasion.
Noorena Shams will represent Pakistan in the 2028 Olympics. That will be the first time that squash will be included in the Olympics, making it a historic moment for the sport and Pakistan.
The partnership is expected not only to boost sports and shows the Ranchers’ commitment to supporting women athletes in Pakistan, setting a path for more collaborations in the future. Talking to the media at the signing ceremony, Ayub Zakori said: “At Zakori Group, we strongly believe in the power of sports to empower women and inspire change. By supporting Noorena Shams, we are investing in a future where female athletes receive the recognition that they deserve.”
