Rawalpindi:The House of Blessing gave true meaning to Independence Day by bringing joy to the hearts of orphaned children in Rawalpindi. The young residents of the orphanage, located in Morgah, were filled with excitement as they celebrated Independence Day with a series of heart-warming activities on Sunday.

The children showcased their talents through national songs, Naat recitations, tableaux, and cultural dances. Their performances were a testament to their creativity and enthusiasm, as they confidently shared their skills with everyone present. The celebration was particularly special as the children had recently moved into a new building, generously donated by Muhammad Niaz. The inauguration of the new orphanage building was marked by prayers for peace and solidarity in the country, with the children and donors participating in the ceremony.

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Todd Shaa, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of the House of Blessing, who is a French national; President Muhammad Aslam; Vice President Muhammad Niaz; Director Madam Fouzia; and other high-ranking officers.

Todd Shaa added a special touch to the celebration by singing the iconic song ‘Dil Dil Pakistan,’ expressing his admiration for the country. He described Pakistan as a peaceful nation with immense potential for business opportunities. Shaa extended his gratitude to all the donors who have supported the House of Blessing, enabling it to provide a home-like environment for the orphaned children.

Vice President Muhammad Niaz, who donated the new building, expressed his deep affection for the orphans, referring to them as his own children. Despite living in France, Niaz emphasised his commitment to doing everything possible for the well-being of orphaned children in Pakistan. He also shared that overseas Pakistanis are always praying for the prosperity of their homeland.
