Man kills wife in Scheme 33

A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in District East of Karachi on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the Sukhiya Goth area of Scheme 33, within the jurisdiction of the SITE Super Highway police station.

Police and rescuers arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased woman was identified as Amina, 40, daughter of Ismail. According to initial investigations, Amina was killed by her husband, Rajab Ali, son of Ali Bhatti, using a pickaxe inside their home. After committing the crime, the husband fled the scene.

The motive behind the incident is still under investigation, and the police have registered a case and are continuing their inquiries.
