PESHAWAR, Aug 16 (APP):Three persons drowned in a river as a locally made chairlift collapsed in the Brasin area of Upper Kohistan.
DSP Sajjad Khan of Upper Kohistan said that the Rescue 1122 team, along with police and local residents, are participating in the operation to search out drowned.The chairlift, which is the only means of transporting people from one side of the river to the other, suddenly collapsed during routine communication. Rescue 1122 teams and local divers are busy to recover the drowned, as the river is in a full flow due to snow-melting at the catchment areas.
