LAHORE:The Senior Tutor Office of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) arranged the concluding ceremony of Weeklong Independence Celebrations of Pakistan at City Campus.
UVAS Vice Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus presided over the concluding ceremony and distributed certificates among the winners of all the contests and shields among organising team members. Prof Dr Muhammad Younus appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation in the weeklong independence celebrations contests and also paid rich tribute to Quaid-i-Azam M Ali Jinnah on his dedicated efforts for the attaining of a separate homeland for Muslims.
He said we must remember the services of our elders who had sacrificed their lives for the achievement of Pakistan. He also acknowledged the dedicated contribution of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan to strengthen the defence system of Pakistan.
