Pakistan, Bangladesh undergo training for Tests
LAHORE: The Pakistan and Bangladesh Test squads have kicked off their training sessions at the Rawalpindi and Gaddafi Stadiums respectively ahead of the upcoming two-Test series. The players attended intensive net sessions under the close supervision of the coaching staff.
The training session marked the beginning of preparations for the highly anticipated series, with the first Test set to begin on August 21 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh team spent three hours in the field for training in long session at Gaddafi Stadium. Bangladesh cricket team will leave for Islamabad on August 17.
The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played in Rawalpindi from August 21 In a schedule update, it has been announced that the players in the Test squad will have a rest day on Saturday. However, both the Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket teams will return to the field for another training session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday, starting at 10 am.
