Action recommended against officials who issued fake matric certificates
An inquiry officer appointed by the Matric Board over the complaints regarding issuance of fake certificates and mark sheets has recommended immediate disciplinary action against those responsible.
The inquiry officer appointed under the direction of Sindh Minister for Boards and Universities Muhammad Ali Malkani has recommended that immediate action be taken against Board Secretary Naveed Ahmed under the relevant performance and discipline rules.
The inquiry report also recommends referring the issue of making fake certificates to the Anti-Corruption Department and immediate suspension of all the responsible persons of the certificate section, including Muhammad Arif, Ali Yazda, Rehan Abbas, and Muhammad Iqbal.
The board chairman has been recommended to initiate criminal proceedings for the loss of records and files and conduct a detailed audit of the certificate branch to identify and correct procedural gaps and ensure adherence with documentation protocols.
