Man held for manhandling wife

LAHORE:Ghaziabad police arrested a man for manhandling his wife. A call was made by a neighbour about violence against a woman at the Virtual Women Police Station. Upon which a police team reached the spot and arrested the accused.

Two murder suspects arrested

Green Town Investigation police arrested two persons involved in a murder from Landi Kotal. The accused identified as Muhammad Tariq and Asjad had murdered a citizen over the dispute of cable network and fled to Landi Kotal.

14 die in road accidents in Punjab

The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,265 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 14 people died, whereas 1,333 were injured. Out of these, 573 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 760 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.

Youth electrocuted to death

A 26-year-old youth lost his life due to electrocution in the Mehmood Booti Lakhodair area Tuesday. Abdullah was reportedly working on an electricity pole when the accident happened. He was electrocuted and died on the spot. Body was shifted to Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital.
