LAHORE:Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has dedicated Monday’s clean-up operation to Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.
In this regard, Liberty Chowk was adorned with congratulatory banners and Pakistani flags to celebrate Arshad’s remarkable achievement. A large group of LWMC workers, officers, and participants also took part in a walk to celebrate Arshad's achievement.
LWMC Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din highlighted Arshad's Olympic feat, where he achieved a record throw of 92.97 meters, enhancing national pride and confidence. CEO LWMC emphasised LWMC's commitment to maintaining a clean city on the eve of Independence Day celebrations. The citywide cleanliness drive is being conducted with great enthusiasm and effort, he added.
