According to the Portuguese mountaineer, the injuries are serious and his chances of survival are limited.
Mountaineers across the country, including Sajid Sadpara and Naila Kayani, have appealed to the government to send helicopters to the base camp. Murad Sadpara, 35, used to spend his time mountain climbing in summers and driving tractors in winters. He has three daughters and a son.
