Rickshaw driver commits suicide

A 19-year-old youth, Amir Ali, son of Zulfiqar Ali, shot himself dead on Saturday in Marora Goth.

Police said the youth was a rickshaw driver and unmarried, and the weapon he used for suicide was illegal.

The incident took place within the limits of the Sacchal police station when the youth had returned home on Saturday night after driving the rickshaw.

The family said they did not know how the youth came in possession of the weapon. They added that he had been behaving strangely for some days and was quieter than usual.
