LDA retrieves state land worth millions

LAHORE : Continuing its operations against land grabbers, LDA carried out a major operation in Finance and Trade Centre of Johar Town and retrieved several plots worth millions of rupees here on Saturday.

The operation was carried out by Director Moazzam Rasheed on the instructions of LDA DG Tahir Farooq who also visited the precious site of the LDA after the operation. Chief Engineer LDA Asrar Saeed, Additional DG UP, Director Enforcement and concerned officers were present on this occasion.

LDA DG directed that FTC site should be made clean and encroachment free and concrete steps should be taken to permanently end violations.

In the early morning operation, LDA teams demolished illegal walls of seven plots in different blocks and removed encroachments from the plots of Finance and Trade Centre in Johar Town.

The team also demolished the temporary structures.
