Bangladesh to arrive on 13th
LAHORE: The Bangladesh cricket team will arrive in Pakistan earlier than planned.
Originally scheduled to land in Islamabad on August 17th, the team will now touch down in Lahore on August 13. This change in itinerary is in response to an invitation extended by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to allow the Bangladeshi players ample time to acclimatise to the conditions. The team will undergo training sessions at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from August 14 to 16 before moving to Islamabad for further preparation at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer said: “Sports is not only about winning and losing, it’s also about comradery. I remain confident that the extra training sessions in Lahore will allow the players to showcase their best skills and talent on the global stage.
“We are delighted that the BCB have accepted our offer and we look forward to welcoming the Bangladesh men’s cricket team in Lahore on 13 August with our traditional hospitality.
