Pledge to address UoP professors’ tax issues

PESHAWAR: Federal Tax Ombudsman Advisor Sardar Ali Khawaja has pledged to address the tax-related concerns of University of Peshawar (UoP) professors promptly.
He made the assurance at a meeting at the regional office in Peshawar, where representatives from Peshawar University discussed their tax issues with Khawaja.University officials expressed their appreciation for the reinstatement of tax rebates, which had previously been a point of contention. They also requested expedited payment of long-delayed refunds.Khawaja affirmed that university teachers, being highly respected, would receive priority and respect in tax offices.
