GUJRANWALA: The district and sessions judge has issued the release orders of PTI leader Aliya Hamza, who was arrested in connection with the May 9 incident, after one year.
Aliya Hamza’s bail bond of Rs50,000 has been submitted.
Following the submission of the bail bond, Aliya Hamza was released from Gujranwala Central Jail.
Meanwhile, a two-member bench, headed by Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza of Lahore High Court, overruled the objection of Registrar’s Office on the bail application of co-accused in PTI leader Aliya Hamza’s case. The court ordered to fix the petitions for hearing.
