An explosion occurred in the canteen of the Sindh High Court on Wednesday morning, reportedly caused by a gas leak. The bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called to the scene, its officials confirmed that the blast was due to a gas leak.
According to the BDS, the gas was left open overnight in the canteen, and a short circuit in the morning triggered the explosion. The explosion shattered the windows of the New High Court Bar and damaged the canteen's false ceiling. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The BDS has completed its sweep of the area, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
