Islamabad: Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Aybek Arif Usmanov on Tuesday said his country was making efforts to strengthen its relations with South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African nations, foster cooperation in emerging sectors, and develop transport and logistics corridors to connect those regions and enable it to access global markets. Usmanov told reporters here that Uzbekistan placed high importance on working with the leading global international organisation, recognising it as a key priority in its foreign policy.
