Asad, Ismail, Rashid win titles

KARACHI: Asad Zaman, Ismail Aftab, and Rashid Bachani won titles at Techstirr national tennis championship at D.A Creek Club here on Tuesday. In the final of juniors under-18 singles, Asad from Lahore beat Muzammil Bhand from Hyderabad 7-5, 6-3. In the final of boys under-14 singles, Ismail thrashed Ali Bachani from Hyderabad 4-0, 4-1. In the final of boys under-12 singles, Rashid from Hyderabad defeated M Junaid from Peshawar 4-1, 4-2. In the final of juniors under-18 doubles, Asad and Kashan beat Yahya and Muzammil 8-5. In the final of boys under-14 doubles, Ismail and Hazik overpowered Muzammil and Ruhab 9-7.
