KARACHI: The newly formed board of the Karachi Dock Labour Board (KDLB) considered steps on Monday to introduce reforms in the organization.
The board constituted multiple committees comprising the KPT management, board members and CBA representatives who will deliberate over the measures to rationalize the strength of organization; provide better medical facilities; improve their working condition; and enhance their overall welfare.
The board approved several measures that will reduce the annual expenditure by approximately Rs1 billion and promote the ease of doing business for all port users, a statement said.
