Police Martyrs’ Day observed
LAHORE:Punjab Police observed Police Martyrs' Day with full devotion and respect. The main function in this regard was organised in Police Training College Chuhng. IG Punjab attended the function as Chief Guest, senior police officers and families of martyrs participated in large numbers.
IGP distributed 65 laptops to the children of martyred cops with excellent academic performance in the programme organised in the college auditorium. The children and families of the martyred police officials presented poems and tribute articles in memory of the martyrs. IGP paid tribute to the eternal sacrifices of police martyrs and said that the brave jawans who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty are our real heroes.
CCPO and DIG Lahore went to the grave of martyred DIG Ahmed Mobeen, offered fateha, laid floral wreaths on the graves and met with the families of the martyrs.
Martyrs are our valuable assets whose stories of courage and bravery serve as a beacon for the entire force. This was stated by CCPO Lahore in his message issued Sunday regarding Police Martyrs' Day.
