Governor lauds strength lifting team

LAHORE : Pakistan's strength lifting team that won a gold medal at the 11th World Strength Lifting Championship held in Kazakhstan called on Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider at the Governor’s House on Saturday.
The triumphant team, led by Aqeel Javed Butt, the founder president of the Pakistan Strength Lifting Federation and their coach, was warmly welcomed by Punjab Governor at the Governor’s House. The governor lauded the team's exceptional performance and presented them with certificates of appreciation. M Usman, a member of the Pakistani team, emerged victorious in the 85kg Senior Class, defeating two Indian competitors in a thrilling final.
