President urges aid to rain victims

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and damage to properties caused by rain-related incidents across the country.
According to a statement issued by the President House, Zardari conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. He underscored the urgency of accelerating relief efforts to aid those affected. He called for implementation of precautionary measures to safeguard lives and prevent further rain-related tragedies. He emphasized the importance of timely action by the administration to ensure effective drainage of rainwater and mitigate the risk of future incidents.
