Varsities sign MoU on academic research

LAHORE:Punjab University (PU) and a private university signed an MoU to promote academic relations. In this regard, the MoU signing ceremony was held at the PU VC office’s committee room which was attended by PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, UoL Rector Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf and others.

According to the MoU, both universities shall work together in the areas of learning and development, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, training, cooperative educational programme and career opportunity for youth. The parties shall also work on student exchange and faculty exchange programmes, social media marketing, international media marketing, international conferences, workshops and seminars etc.

Students’ achievements

The students of The Educators attained yet another significant achievement in the BISE Board Matriculation Examinations 2023-24. According to a press release, Moazzam Tufail from The Educators Police Public School, Faisalabad emerged as one of the board toppers securing the 3rd position in Faisalabad Board and overall Punjab with 1,186 marks.

Acknowledging this amazing result, the management of The Educators held a press conference followed by a prize distribution ceremony where the position holder was awarded a cash prize and certificate. Beaconhouse Group Director Ali Raza was the chief guest while Head of Operations and Business Development The Educators M Ali Butt, Head of Academics Ms Fauzia Adnan and Head of Marketing Rana Ehtesham Ahmed also attended the ceremony. Overall, the students of The Educators have achieved 30 top positions across all BISE Boards in 11 years.

PU sets up summer camp in China

Punjab University’s Confucius Institute set up a summer camp in China in which a group of 19 students from various Pakistani universities embarked on a captivating two-week adventure, exploring China’s vibrant culture and rich history.

Under the expert guidance of Chinese Director at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JXUST) Prof Cai JinBao the students experienced a grand reception in Guangzhou, high-speed train ride, Chinese calligraphy, Kung Fu classes, the essence of traditional arts, historic exploration, visits to Wei’s Family House and local museums.
