BISP promises technical training to vulnerable women

Islamabad:The Benazir Income Support Programme will impart technical training to youth and vulnerable women in Balochistan to empower them.

This was decided during a meeting between Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Rubina Khalid and Minister for Education and Technical Training Balochistan Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani in Islamabad. The programme aims at uplifting the lives of BISP beneficiaries by equipping them with the latest skills. Both leaders emphasized the importance of joint efforts in uplifting vulnerable populations and pledged to work together towards a brighter future for the people.

Meanwhile, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan on Commerce and Industry, met the BISP chairperson and discussed important issues related to BISP beneficiaries in Balochistan. During the meeting, Rubina Khalid said that on the special instructions of President Asif Zardari, women belonging to Balochistan province who have PMT score up to 60 are being included in the BISP Kafalat and other programmes. During the meeting several key issues were also addressed, including the challenges faced by women beneficiaries in Balochistan and solutions to improve their well-being.
