Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban predicted that Pakistan, along with China, India, and Indonesia, could become major global powers due to shifting global power dynamics favouring Asia and Russia. Pakistan's strategic location connects South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East, enhancing its role in international trade, especially when combined with projects like CPEC. The country has a capable military, and a diverse economy with strengths in agriculture, textiles and a growing IT sector.
Pakistan's rich cultural heritage and influence in the Muslim world also boosts its soft power. With 70 per cent of its population being young, Pakistan has a vast reservoir of talent and potential for innovation. However, challenges like political instability, economic diversification, and infrastructure development need to be addressed to fully realize its potential.
