Feted war criminal
This letter refers to the news report 'Hamas, Netanyahu trade blame over stalled ceasefire, prisoner exchange talks' (July 30, 2024). The warm welcome and monotonous standing ovations that the genocidal war criminal received from the compromised and bought-out majority of US lawmakers and officials has made him even more belligerent. In this frame of mind, he is trying to establish his reputation as a strong leader who can defy the whole world, hoping to persuade the Israelis to forgive him for his war crimes, corruption, dictatorial measures and proven incompetence.
This includes his failure to foresee the October 7 attacks, despite plenty of intelligence warning of such an attack, and his inability to minimize casualties once the attack began. Clearly, Netanyahu is the one blocking the ceasefire.
