ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has approved filling 2,375 vacant positions from Grades 1 to 17 and issued separate no-objection certificates for each ministry. These NOCs will be valid for six months and have been issued from the Establishment Division’s surplus pool.
According to office memoranda issued by the Establishment Division, the following positions have been approved for recruitment:
Ministry of Defence — seven positions in Grade 17; Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) — four positions in Grades 11 to 14; Pakistan Railways — one assistant electrical engineer in Grade 17, two assistant mechanical engineers in Grade 17 and six assistant executive engineers in Grade 17; Ministry of National Health — four positions in Grades 1 to 14 at the Federal Medical College, Islamabad; Ministry of Defence (Defence Division) — 11 positions in Grades 16 and 17 in the Pakistan Navy Lower Formation; Federal Ministry of Education —12 positions in Grades 1 to 15 at the Government Polytechnic Institute for Women; Aviation Division — 32 positions in Grades 1 to 5; Ministry of Interior — 41 positions in Grade 15 at Islamabad Police Safe City; 121 positions in Grades 1 to 11 in the Pakistan Coast Guards: two assistant directors in Grade 17 at the Federal Public Service Commission; three positions in Grades 16 and 17 at the FG TB Centre; and 27 positions in Grades 1 to 15 at the Chief Commissioner Office, Islamabad; Ministry of Interior — 2,023 positions in Grades 5 to 11 at the FC Headquarters, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Dera Ismail Khan; Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis — 24 positions in Grades 1 to 17; Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) — four additional positions in Grades 11 to 14; Ministry of Defence (Defence Division) — 49 positions in Grades 1 to 15; Ministry of Defence (PASBD Department) — two positions in Grade 16.
