Residents protest power outages

MANSEHRA: The traders in Garhi Habibullah on Tuesday observed a shutter-down strike and blocked arteries linking Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan against prolonged power outages and low voltages.

The traders observed a complete shutter-down strike and took out a rally. The rally participants were chanting slogans against the Peshawar Electric Supply Company and blocked the Kashmir Road to traffic, causing inconvenience to the travellers.The protesters later on also assembled at Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road in the Bisian area and blocked it.
