Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) urgently convened a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) and all Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to address the critical supply issues in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) resulting from the road closure to Muzaffarabad due to a landslide, says a press release.
Demonstrating prompt and decisive action, OGRA and the Ministry, after thorough consultation with all stakeholders, decided to adopt an alternate route for the transportation of petroleum products. This measure aims to ensure the continuous supply of products to the retail outlets in the region.
