The bodies of two children were found at a clinic on Monday, and the quack allegedly involved in their murder was arrested. The victims were brothers, and they were identified as Ahmed, 7, and Hassan, 10. The deceased were taken to Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
Police said the suspect, Abdul Karim, son of Ataullah, is a Korangi resident and runs a clinic in Mauripur’s Machhar Colony. The suspect is not a doctor but a quack, added the police. Officials said the suspect lured the two children into his clinic by promising them parrots, adding that the suspect then administered sedatives to the victims.

Officials said that during the initial interrogation, the suspect admitted to his crime. Based on his indication, the police recovered the bodies of the two children from the cupboard in the clinic, they added.
