Youth killed over minor dispute

LAHORE:A youth was killed and another injured in the firing incident over a minor dispute in Kahna area on Monday.

According to police, the deceased youth identified as 19-year-old Ayan Ali and M Ali went to fetch water from BRB canal where some unknown persons resorted to firing after exchange of harsh words.

Ayan, who was shot in the belly, died while being shifted to the hospital while M Ali had 12-bore pellets on his left arm. The accused fled from the spot. Police reached the spot and started the investigation and the search for the accused is underway.
