Man held for contracting fake Nikah with foreign national

LAHORE:Iqbal Town police registered a case against a suspect over contracting a fake Nikah with a British woman and grabbing her belongings worth millions.

Police also arrested the prime suspect Sajid Maqsood. The victim Zaib-un-Nisa had alleged that the suspect Sajid had defrauded her after contracting a fake Nikah. He grabbed over Rs22.5 million after selling her house. He also transferred her car against his name. She had nominated other accused persons in the case also.
