1 injured as robbers open fire on bus

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A passenger sustained injuries when armed robbers opened fire on a Quetta-bound bus in Sago area in the limits of Daraban Police Station on Thursday.

The police said that a passenger bus was going to Quetta from Dera Ismail Khan. They said when the bus reached Sago area in the jurisdiction of Daraban Police Station, the robbers equipped with automatic weapons signaled the bus to stop.

However, the robbers opened fire on the bus when the driver tried to speed it away.As a result, one of the passengers, whose name could not be ascertained, sustained injuries. Soon after the incident, the police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.
