Saudi government thanked for facilitating millions of Hujjaj

Islamabad:Speakers at a seminar on Hajj 2024, thanked the Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for making excellent arrangement and facilitating millions of Hujjaj despite severe hot weather.

The speakers at the seminar organised by the Tehrik Difa e Harmain Al Sharifain, on behalf of the whole Pakistani nation, religious and political leaders particularly thanked King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for making outstanding arrangements for Hujjaj so that they are served in the maximum possible way.

They also praised efforts of Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Maliki for taking special interest in extending best possible facilities to Pakistan Hujjaj. Political Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, Saleh Al Mutairi was chief guest on the occasion.

Ex Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor MNA, Mustafa Kamal MNA, AJK Minister for Information Mazhar Saeed Shah, Maulana Abdul Majeed Hazarvi, Professor Hafiz Sajjad Qamar, Secretary General Tehrik Difa e Harmain Al Sharifain Maulana Fazalur Rehman Khalil,senior journalist Saleem Safi and Sahibzada Awais Nooraniwere prominent amongst those who addressed the seminar.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Abdull Ghafoor Haideri said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy examplary Islamic and brotherly relations. The JUI-F leader at the same time strongly condemned a fake campaign on social media regarding poor Haj arrangements. Praising best Haj arrangements, he however suggested the Saudi Government provide more shelters on roads leading to different places in two holy cities.

Professor Sajjad Qamar who hosted the event particularly talked about 'Road to Makka' project according to which all the security and immigration facilities to Pakistani pilgrims were provided at Islamabad and Karachi before their departure to KSA. In this connection, he highlighted and praised contributions of Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Maliki, the Saudi Ambassador in Islamabad.
