LAHORE:Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faisal Mir has announced holding a protest against Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for not allowing the party to hold ‘President's Day’, a ceremony in connection with the birthday of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club here on Wednesday, Faisal Mir said PPP workers would gather near Azad Chowk against Maryam Nawaz and her government. He alleged that the Punjab government was following the footmarks of Ziaul Haq and not allowing the PPP for holding ‘President's Day’ was a reflection of a dictatorial mindset.
