Two human traffickers held

LAHORE:Two suspects involved in human trafficking and visas fraud were arrested on Wednesday. Reportedly, accused M Hussain and Khalid Mahmood were involved in deceiving citizens by promising them overseas employment and extorting millions of rupees from them. They extorted Rs800,000 from a citizen on the pretext of arranging a work visa for him in Spain. According to the FIA spokesman, the accused have been arrested from Lahore.

Two injured in cylinder blast

Two persons were injured in an incident of cylinder explosion in a sweets shop in Laxmi Chowk. Reportedly, the fire broke out due to a cylinder explosion in the shop. As a result, two workers busy in the work in the shop received serious injuries. Nearby people called rescue teams. The Rescuers and fire-fighters reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire. They also shifted the injured victims to hospital. The condition of the victims was stated to be stable.

Man commits suicide

A 52-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in the Ghaziabad area. Reportedly, the victim Idrees, a resident of Panj Pir Darbar, was frustrated due to his personal issue. On the day of the incident, he locked himself in a room and claimed his life. Body was moved to morgue.

Four robbers arrested

Badami Bagh police have arrested four suspected robbers. The arrested suspects were identified as Kamran alias Baba, Shan, Daniyal alias Daud and Akram. Police also recovered one bike, cash and illegal weapons from their custody.

Man stabbed, injured

A 45-year-old man has been stabbed and injured in the Dharampura area. The suspect Umar Aslam had a dispute with the victim Khalid Hussain. On the day of the incident, he after a brief exchange of harsh words attacked the victim with a knife.

The victim received injuries and was shifted to hospital. In another incident reported in Hayer, two persons were injured in an incident of firing near Sabzi Wala Bridge. The injured victims were identified as Nazim and Nasir.
