Twilight of the West?

Liberal democracy, once hailed as the champion of fundamental rights, is now struggling to maintain its footing. Following the cold war, the US asserted its dominance globally and then promoted liberal democracy as a core system. However, the global landscape is shifting dramatically from west to east, as China, Russia and India rise.
This shift has led to a decline in Western influence on global affairs, paving the way for the Global South to ascend. If China, India, and Russia continue their upward trajectory, the world will become multipolar, dealing a significant blow to the Global North.
