PM Office, Staff Colony maintenance handed over to CDA
PM has approved that CDA will pay utility bills, perform cleaning, maintenance and at PM Office
ISLAMABAD: In the light of the decision to close PWD, the Prime Minister’s Office has handed over the maintenance of PM Office (Public), Prime Minister’s Office (Internal) and Prime Minister’s Staff Colony to the CDA. The Prime Minister has approved it.
The Additional Secretary of Prime Minister’s Office, Sara Aslam, has informed the CDA Chairman, Housing and Construction Secretary, Finance Division Secretary and Interior Secretary about the decision. After the closure of PWD, the prime minister has approved that the CDA will pay utility bills, perform cleaning, maintenance and other duties at the Prime Minister’s Office (Public and Internal) and Prime Minister’s Staff Colony, which were performed by the PWD.
The Prime Minister’s Office has directed in the letter that the transition process of transfer of duties from PWD to CDA should be completed in a coordinated manner within 15 days. Other matters will be decided in the light of recommendations by the transition committee.
