ISLAMABAD: The meeting of federal cabinet, scheduled to be held Today (Tuesday) under the chair of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has been postponed.
Government sources said that approval was to be sought to impose ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from cabinet meeting summoned by the prime minister. It was also revealed that during cabinet meeting approval was also to be sought to take action against Founder of PTI Imran Khan, former president Dr Arif Alvi and former National Assembly (NA) deputy speaker Qasim Suri under Article 6.
However, the meeting of federal cabinet postponed suddenly and is expected to be held tomorrow (Wednesday). The government will take final decision on the issue of imposing ban on PTI and use of Article 6 against them after holding consultation with allied parties.
